I like this movie because it is refreshingly clean and good-hearted. Though the film tells the story that is the lives of black Americans, the film does not have scenes of violence and have little swear word (only happened twice), which is a strong point of the film.Through the content of the film, I understood more about the slavery of the South and peaceful life in rural areas. However, I feel that the story is unrealistic. Loretta's transformation from party girl to responsible mother is far too easy, which does not create the impression to the audiences.
